The SPS facility operates within the parameters of a NQA-1 Quality Assurance Program and employs skilled local labor trained in the design and manufacture of hazardous materials packages.
Strategic Packaging Systems, LLC (SPS), is a full-service manufacturer and distributor of packaging materials, packaging systems, and railcar liner systems operating within the parameters of a NQA-1 based Quality Assurance Program. SPS has over 80 years combined craft knowledge and experience in providing “alternative” soft-sided, flexible packaging for the nuclear, hazardous waste, and flood prone markets. We pioneered the first “soft-sided” packaging and railcar liner products used in radioactive waste industry over a decade ago.
SPS provides proven packaging systems and ensures safety, improved efficiency and reduced costs. SPS has the infrastructure and manufacturing expertise and can perform the necessary USDOT testing in-house if needed. We have an in-depth knowledge of the transportation industry, including innovative design, skilled engineering and testing capabilities. We provide a wide range of standard and custom packaging solutions that can be tailored to meet the needs of your project or manufacturing processes. Our flexible options include: container liners, IBC bags, railcar liners, and an unlimited line of custom made products. We also offer innovative cost effective railcar and truck liner and tarp systems and large component packaging (i.e. LP turbine rotors, heavy construction equipment, etc.) which meet DOT packaging requirements.
